What You’ll Do

The Director of Customer Finance is responsible for empowering and leading a high-performing Finance team. The right person will help shape Royal's future: Lead and mentor a talented finance team, fostering a collaborative environment that drives financial excellence. Based out of our Royal Center facility in Hudsonville, this position reports directly to the CFO.

What You’ll Bring

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-focused field, such as finance, accounting, economics, or business administration. (Required)

    • Engineering degrees may also be considered for candidates with relevant experience.

  • Proven track record in program or account management within a manufacturing environment.

  • Demonstrated success in negotiating awards and engineering changes, ensuring cost-effectiveness and project alignment.

  • Experience collaborating within the automotive or furniture industry is a plus.

  • In-depth knowledge of injection molding and value-added assembly processes is highly preferred.

  • Strong understanding of developing burden rates to support accurate quoting models.

  • Strategic partnership with New Business Development to identify and secure profitable opportunities.

  • Leadership experience in motivating and guiding teams towards achieving goals.

  • Exceptional communication and analytical skills, with a focus on clear and concise information delivery.

  • Proven ability to follow through on commitments and take initiative to solve problems.

  • Experience in treasury and controllership is a strong advantage.
