What You’ll Do

Royal Technologies is seeking a Talent Management Leader who is passionate about enabling organizational success through talent management strategies. This strategic and hand-on role will lead our ongoing talent management capability to advance our business in alignment with workforce development needs. This person will support office-professional development and have a heightened focus on enabling our manufacturing teams in learning and development solutions.

Responsibilities:

Lead Talent Management
Lead Royal’s talent management framework practices for the business - serving as process owner and project manager for our learning & development programs, talent review, performance management and succession planning programs for the business.
  • Learning & Development
    • Manage central development resources and programs with heavy emphasis on Leadership Development and universal career readiness & growth solutions
    • Support leaders in building out sustainable functional specific learning & development solutions inclusive of serving as the focal for Operations OJT and “Royal University” technical talent development pipeline success.
    • Regularly evaluate the talent management strategies and solutions for effective impact while also continuously evolving practices with the needs of the business.
    • Complete organizational needs assessment, collaboratively prioritizing specific development solutions and leading through design, development, implementation - this could include program facilitation, train the trainer or partner selection.
  • Talent Review
    • Continuously build upon our Talent Review practices to support the business, our leaders and and people to ensure impactful action, risk management and workforce capability development.
  • Performance Management
    • Ensure performance management processes and tools serve to support high performance with clarity of goals/expectations/accountability, engagement, ongoing dialogue, and employee development growth.  Work with leaders to implement performance improvement strategies and where themes exist, identify root causes, and support solutions to help enabling improvements
  • Succession Planning
    • Partner with leaders to evolve our Succession Planning capability supporting prioritized actions that improve talent readiness
Technology
  • Ensure we effectively consider and leverage appropriate learning technology to enhance impact and employee experience. Current technology solutions include Google Classroom and UKG.
    • Note: We are a G-Suite company!
Culture Keeper & Developer
  • Serve as a culture keeper; preserving our strong people focus culture weaving who we are and how we work into all aspects of our process, systems and content.
Other Duties as assigned
  • Working collaboratively across the HR function leading within the Talent Management space but also shifting to support other HR work as demands require. This could include taking a leadership role in assessing a situation / need, developing and managing full scope solution implementation on a project or taking the lead on a recruitment initiative.

What You’ll Bring

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Learning & Development, Organizational Management or extensive direct experience with success in a role with related responsibilities: Talent Management Framework, Variety of Development Design Solutions, including Training & Delivery
  • Experience and established love for working in manufacturing with growth of internal technical talent pipeline development.
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching and train the trainer skills to bring out the best in others.
  • Project Management - lead/influence/collaborate cross functionally to develop an aligned plan, manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously - strong organizational skills, high personal accountability, process orientated with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, establishing priorities, manage deadlines, exercise a high degree of professionalism, strong communication skills (verbal and written) at all levels of internal and external engagement 
  • Ability to adapt and change with the needs of the organization.
  • Manages confidentiality without exception; demonstrates outstanding judgment.
  • Ability to travel domestically approximately 4-8 times a year.
