What You’ll Do
The Help Desk Technician will provide front-line support to our internal customers and work on a variety of technology projects. This position is onsite at our Hudsonville facility.
Responsibilities:
- Monitors and maintains the organizational computer system's daily performance.
- Provides technical support, troubleshoots and resolves urgent technical issues, while responding to help requests in person and by phone.
- Identifies and escalates complex issues to management.
- Compiles daily or weekly issues log for management.
- Compiles daily or weekly issues log for management.
- Installs and repairs computer hardware and software, cleans computers, and runs diagnostic programs.
- Writes user manuals and trains staff as needed.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in an IT field preferred and 1 year experience
- Working knowledge of Google Workspace and Chrome OS is strongly preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Windows, and VMWare Horizon is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills
- A true passion for technology
