What You’ll Do

Your future starts here!  A Quality Resource will help support the team towards meeting quality key measures and execution of procedures.  This position supports 3rd shift (12am-8am)

Responsibilities:

  • Approach all responsibilities with a high level of detail and standardization.
  • Identify and resolve issues that prevent Royal team members from achieving daily responsibilities.
  • Display excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask several projects under pressure.
  • Ensure inspection of quality products that meet customer standards.
  • Effectively communicate with Customers, Suppliers, Royal Management and Support Staff regarding quality and general business related topics.
  • Maintain and support Royal QMS to provide the entire production team with an organized workplace and proper tools to provide perfectly acceptable products to our customers.
  • Implement Continuous Improvement Projects with tangible results (PDCA/A3).
  • Participate in the launch process of new tools/DWGs in the plant (Blue Print, Design Review, PFMEA, BB, PTR/PSO, SI).
  • Support the launch team with attending trial runs at machine builders
  • Attend launch reviews and provide feedback on necessary changes prior to production
  • Manage a large volume of paper and electronic administrative activity with urgency and accuracy to QMS standards and manufacturing expectations.
  • Utilize various sources of data to support individual and team decision making processes. 
  • Complete product and process risk evaluation activities with a high level of detail in the thought process.

What You’ll Bring

Qualifications:

  • One year or more or related experience
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication.
  • Able to demonstrate strong problem solving capabilities that translate to standard methodology (8D, Kepner-Tregoe, Ishikawa, etc...) 
  • Critical thinking
  • Excellent attendance record and flexible to overtime (daily/weekly) - 45+ hours.
  • Understanding of Royal’s QMS.
  • Ability and experience in data analysis and compilation
  • Ideal candidates will have the education and background for advancement (QE)
  • Prior leadership experience/ ability to hold others accountable to procedures
  • Color acuteness.
  • Passion to implement and envision new methods and areas of improvement
  • Microsoft / Google G Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Forms, Data Studio) proficiency.
  • Willing and able to obtain appropriate internal/external training as needed to support role responsibilities and growth.
