The Materials Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all the Customer orders are shipped in a timely manner, meeting the Royal procedures and the Customer requirements.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee the shipping workload
- Schedule transportation with Customers and their Carriers
- Manage Customer portals to enter ASN’s, shipping information, etc.
- Coordinate with Carriers and Drivers to ensure product is shipped on time and correctly.
- Manage dock assignments and live loading.
- Communicate daily with Customer Service regarding shipping orders, expedites and shortages.
- Communicate with Production regarding shortages.
- Ensure all the proper documentation is issued for each shipment, and it is shared with the proper individuals internally and with the Customer.
- Quote with carriers and set up expedited shipments.
