Responsibilities:
- Development of robust molding processes, robust tooling and automation for new product launches, as well as problem solving
- Work within a cross-functional launch team including Project Engineers and Tooling Engineers
- Troubleshoot process issues, scrap/cost reductions, and improvement projects
Qualifications:
- One year of consecutive service time (unless business needs allow otherwise)
- No written warnings within the last six months and no unacceptable scores on their last evaluation
- Excellent attendance record
- Recommended by your Manager
- Excellent Organizational skills
- Excellent Communication and Writing Skills
- Able to multitask under pressure
- Past processing & troubleshooting experience
- Ability to complete an RMT
- Ability to write a robot program
- MQ1 and Syteline experience a plus
- Education, minimum of a two year degree in plastics or related engineering field, four year degree preferred. Seven years of technical processing experience as an equivalent.
- Proven background in scientific troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of tooling
- Working knowledge of tool and part print interpretation
- DOE capability
- A/3, PDCA experience
- Experience with Plastracs, eDarts, 2-shot, and rotary platen machines
- Ability to interface with customers, engineering, and suppliers
