What You’ll Do
The Mold Repair Tech is responsible for maintaining molds and providing operational support for the Tooling Department. Based out of our Corporate Grove facility, this position reports directly to the Tooling Supervisor and supports 1st shift (8am-4pm).
Responsibilities:
- Perform mold preventative maintenance and basic tool repairs
- Identify and assist in correcting the root cause of tool related defects
- Maintain a strong, positive relationship with manufacturing, maintaining a service attitude
- Order tool room parts and supplies from a variety of vendors
- Manage the accurate completion and distribution of electronic forms to interdepartmental teams
What You’ll Bring
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Currently in a technical position (Tech Op, Utility, or Supervisor) or previous relevant mold making and/or repair experience
- General knowledge of injection molding and mold design
- Detail-orientation with the ability to complete mold PM's in a timely manner (training will be provided)
- Mechanically inclined and enjoy hands-on work.
- Computer Proficiency - Preferred proficiency with Google Sheets and knowledge of Royal systems (Intranet applications, Syteline, production schedules)
- Ideal candidates will have interest in completing the Tooling Development Program in the future (3-year program that includes schooling)
