Day to Day Role:
Technical Inspection: Perform SI part inspections (VRS) and repacks (PRS). Conduct color checks (FS/LS), concentrate inspections, and incoming component checks using precision tools like the Spectrophotometer and Gloss Meter.
Color Assessments: Evaluate color harmony of parts against master standards.
Audit & Compliance: Execute "Every Bay Every Day" (EBED) audits, bank build inspections, and specialized part audits.
Data & Communication: Manage data entry in Syteline and Google Forms. Utilize email, escalation tools, and digital dashboards to communicate quality status to the plant.
Operational Support: Provide plant-wide operator break coverage, monitor SI shortages, and maintain 5S cleanliness.
Logistics & Leadership: Collaborate with bays to make critical quality decisions and move stock/standards using motorized hand carts.
Requirements:
Color Vision: Pass and maintain color acuity testing.
Technical Proficiency: Ability to navigate Syteline and Google Workspace (Forms, Sheets, Email).
Decision Making: Strong judgment to make confident "Go/No-Go" quality decisions on the floor.
Reliability: Proven attendance record and a high sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
Physical & Logistical: Ability to operate motorized carts, manage repacks, and maintain high inventory accuracy.
Flexibility: Ability to work a standard 1st shift (8am–4pm) or a split-shift (e.g., 6am–2pm) with overtime as needed.
