CMM Programmer - 1st Shift
Responsibilities:
- Offline program CMM’s for first article inspection as well as PPAP
- Troubleshoot potential fixture issues and find solutions
- Program Gage R’s and capability studies
- Work with customer and internal standards/layout practices
- Place data in final reports
- Create graphical reports
- Balloon drawings to match programs
- Meet quoted timing requirements
- Assist in training CMM technicians
- Proficiency in PC-DMIS CMM software is required
- Proficient in Hexagon Data Page software a plus
- Experience in measuring plastic parts
- Working knowledge of GD&T and application
- Strong understanding of SPC
- Familiar working with an ISO/IATF 16949:2009 environment
- In-depth knowledge of Metrology and measurement practices
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Work well with others - both within the department and with engineering
- Experience with micrometers, calipers, height gages
- Strong knowledge of CAD
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Multi-sensor equipment knowledge a plus
- Work well in a fast paced environment
- Leadership skills
