Sales Engineer

The Sales Engineer will be the primary account manager supporting a strategic customer account. The selected candidate will proactively conduct regular contact with purchasing, engineering, and other key leaders relative to relationship development, will identify expanded business opportunities, and will manage the existing portfolio of business.

Responsibilities:
  • Leading the business unit in a team-oriented sales philosophy to achieve goals for: New business development, account profitability, execution of new business launches, and customer experience
  • Cooperation with the customer in New Product Development
  • Proven ability to develop a strategy to grow existing customers and secure new ones
  • Progressive and consistent continuous improvement activity


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, or similar
  • Experience in Program/Account management within a Manufacturing Environment
  • Experience in negotiating awards and engineering changes
  • Experience with injection molding and value added assembly highly preferred
  • Strong communication skills, effective follow-through, and a proactive approach
