We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our Assembly team!  The ME will be responsible for continous improvement activities, plant layouts, managing multiple projects and promoting safe working environment.  Successful candidates will have a hands-on approach, a strong lean background, and at least 3 years of prior experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze manufacturing process flows and utilize continuous improvement methods to impact quality, cost reduction, and throughput

  • Design and develop manufacturing processes for enhancements, product changes, and new products, and related fixtures and tooling that are consistent with zero defect level and low product cost.

  • Utilize problem solving techniques to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems

  • Commitment to the team

  • Excellent customer service

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering – mechanical, manufacturing, industrial or similar

  • Three plus years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, automotive experience preferred

  • Proven experience in lean manufacturing  project implementation & Six Sigma knowledge as a plus

  • Experience working with new designs, equipment fabrication, line lay outs, and line balancing

  • Ability to work with minimal direction

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Basic PLC knowledge.
