What You’ll Do
Your future starts here! Royal is currently hiring for our Foam department which supplies foam accessories to injection molding products; primarily for our automotive and furniture customers. The right person is able to follow operator instructions, inspect parts and work in a fast paced environment. This position is open on 2nd (4pm-12am) or 3rd (12am-8am) shift. Based out of our Cullman, AL facility, this position reports to the Foam Supervisor.
Job Responsibilities:
- Stretching and reaching up and down to spray a mold release solution on plastic molds
- Removing parts from plastic foam molds and inspecting for any imperfections
- Following work instructions (both visual and written)
- Completing necessary paperwork
- Involvement in Safety and Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Maintain a neat and organized work area by following 5S requirements
Skills & Requirements
- Self directed, takes initiative and possess good time management skills
- Completion of required production paperwork
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Effective communication (reporting on issues and shortages)
- Attention to detail
- Proven attendance and quality track record
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasks 8+ hours/day
- Lifting up to 35lbs
- Frequent bending, stretching and reaching
- Ability to use fingers, hands and arms to complete a task and handle product
- All employees must wear approved safety glasses
- Starting Wage: $19.50/hour + quarterly bonuses

- High school diploma/GED or 3-5 years of solid manufacturing experience
- Willing and able to work overtime
- Able to lift 35 lbs
- Ability to work 2nd (4pm-12am) or 3rd (12am-8am) shift
